“Scenes that suggest mystery, serenity, and simplicity, have always inspired me. With my camera focused to capture the image, I allow myself to slow down and reflect on the quiet beauty before me. It is my hope that the viewer experiences a little bit of the calm I set out to capture.”
I love any process that allows for a more “hands on” experience, and for over 20 years, I hand-colored my black and white prints. In 2014 I took a “photo encaustic” workshop and found a new way to create original art with my photographs.
