Linda Heath Clark

Shadow Hues

Living in the beautiful foothills of El Dorado County inspires much of my work. Receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Art with a minor in Biology led to working sixteen years as a scientific illustrator. My scientific illustrations and wildlife art have been exhibited in museums including the Smithsonian Institution and the Oakland Museum of California. My current interest is creating full colored scratchboard paintings of a variety of subjects. My scratchboard piece “Cactus Bloom” was published in North Light Books’ AcrylicWorks 2: Radical Breakthroughs, published in February of 2015. In 2016, I was awarded Master Scratchboard Artist (MSA) status by the International Society of Scratchboard Artists.
