Northern California Artist, Sue Chapman, has resided in El Dorado Hills since 1983. She earned her BFA degree from the University of Illinois School of Fine and Applied Arts. Sue uses acrylic on canvas for her plein air landscapes of the surrounding foothills. A common element in her work is the use of color and contrasting value for dramatic effect. Her graphic style is a unique mix of realism and impressionism.
