Grid Curves
My art making process began by using whatever was available to draw on or make into three-dimensional forms. This inattention to traditional art materials and processes and my impulse to assemble bits and pieces into a larger whole has made me comfortable with inventing and experimenting with many different media. For the last several years I have been creating sheet metal sculptures and monotype prints. I have won awards, scholarships, commissions, and grants for my artwork and I have been awarded contracts to do several large-scale public art pieces.
