Located in the vibrant R Street Corridor, ARTHOUSEGallery is a 400 sq. ft. space on the second floor of 1021 R St. Over 20 artists have studios surrounding and extending from the gallery space, and all host an “Open Studio” each month during the Second Saturday Art Walk. Shops and the Sparrow Gallery are located downstairs.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- We provide collectors drawn to our studios and downstairs shops and art gallery.
- We promote you in local media outlets, social media pages and our mailing lists.
- We install and light your show.
- We offer space for a reception and maintain a professional gallery setting.
- We take NO commission. All of the sales are all yours.
WHAT YOU BRING
- You offer interesting work that is different from that of our studio artists.
- You advertise your show to your own mailing list and followers.
- You pay a small fee of to $200 keep us in light bulbs, vinyl letters, wall putty and paint – all so we can make the gallery the best it can be.
So now what?
We need to see your work and find out what you want to show. Eligibility is limited toartists living in the greater Sacramento region. If you live elsewhere but think you can bring a significant number of people to our gallery, please explain that in your submittal.
SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:
- Your website address and link to that site.
- Any social media links you may have.
- An indication of what you might want to show. This could include media, approximate sizes, 3D or 2D (or both), and theme.
- If applying as a group, please include information about all members.
- Anything else you think we should know about you.
