During this colorful fall season ARTHOUSE Gallery & Studios exhibits the work of three artists whose artwork celebrates the beauty of farming. It is a celebration of colors, lights, rhythms and shapes.
Margaret Eldred is fascinated by the interplay by the big, simple shapes of farm buildings and the intricate detail of different structures such as ladders, pipes and vents.
John Nichols shares his interpretation on the abundance of harvest by creating realistic still life paintings in oils. His focus is on precise detail, color, texture and reflections.
Mark Dearing calls his subjects “Mechanical Marvels, Icons & Mysterious Machines”. He finds beauty behind decaying trucks, rusted cars and tractors all full of form, function and mystery.
This shows opens Saturday, September 12th and runs until Monday, October 5th.
